The closet English speaking doctor and clinic is 20 minutes away in Jicaral; there are hospitals in Nicoya (1 hour drive) and Puntarenas (30 min by boat). Starting August 2010 we will have a clinic on Roma del Mar property where first aid supplies and some medication will be available to residents and renters under the supervision of doctors who also own homes in the development.
